Em seu projeto do jardim da Praça de Casa Forte, Roberto Burle Marx já anunciava a importância da educação como elemento aglutinador dos três elementos considerados na concepção das suas obras executada: higiene, educação e arte. Burle Marx Museu, é uma instalação composta por desenhos realizados pelo público em encontros com o artista na própria praça, onde o artista apresentou toda a história da Praça e ao final sugeriu aos participantes encontrar cada espécie de planta pertencente ao projeto original de Burle Marx, como Aninga, Flamboyant, Ipê, entre outras espécies, para realizarem desenhos de observação com pincel e nanquim, reconhecendo a vegetação proposta por Burle Marx. Para a ação os participantes receberam o inventário florístico da praça desenvolvido pelo artista em colaboração com um botânico. O título do trabalho, Burle Marx Museu, faz referência ao pensamento do arquiteto e paisagista em relação a concepção de um jardim, ele pensava cada espécie de planta como um elemento para a composição de uma grande obra.

In his Praça de Casa Forte (Fort House Square) garden project, Roberto Burle Marx has announced the importance of education as a unifying element of the three elements considered in the design of his performed works: Hygiene, education and art. Burle Marx Museu, is an installation consisting of drawings made by the public in meetings with the artist on the square, where the artist presented the history of the square and at the end suggested the participants to find each species of plant that belong to the original design of Burle Marx, as Aninga, Flamboyant, Ipe, among other species, to produce observation drawings with brush and ink, recognizing the vegetation proposed by Burle Marx. For this action, participants received the floristic inventory of the square designed by the artist in collaboration with a botanist. The title, Burle Marx Museu, refers to the thinking of the landscape architect regarding the design of the garden, he thought every plant species as an element in the composition of a great work.
