Intervenção, 2009

Oásis é uma intervenção realizada no jardim da cobertura do Centro Cultural São Paulo. O projeto teve como ponto de partida a criação de uma simbólica praia artificial no jardim, com espreguiçadeiras, guarda-sóis, lixeiras, compondo um espaço de convivência social e lazer onde o público pode frequentar e desfrutar como se estivessem a beira de um córrego ou praia. O espaço da Instituição, que estava sem uso, foi aberto e utilizado para uma proposição artística. A vista do trabalho aponta para Av. 23 de maio, onde antes passava o córrego do Itororó que foi canalizado dando origem à essa atual Avenida.

 

Durante o Período da exposição grande parte do público que freqüenta a Instituição utilizou o espaço para jogos, descanso e leitura, moradores dos prédios ao redor passaram a freqüentar também como espaço de lazer.Para o trabalho foram utilizados 25 espreguiçadeiras, 14 guarda-sóis, 15 mesas e 20 esteiras.

Oasis

Oásis is an intervention performed on the roof garden of the São Paulo Cultural Center. The project took as its starting point the creation of a symbolic artificial beach in the garden with deck chairs, umbrellas, bins, composing a social living space and leisure facilities where the public can attend and enjoy as if they were on the verge of a stream or beach. The space of the institution, which was unused, was opened and used for an artistic proposition. The view of the work points to Av. 23 de Maio, where before giving rise to this current Avenue, the Itororó stream passed. During the exhibition period much of the public that attends the institution used the space for games, rest and reading, residents of the surrounding buildings are now also attending as recreational space. For the study were used 25 lounge chairs, 14 umbrellas, 15 tables and 20 mats.
